Goals Feature With NTPA Time

At Swimmer360°, we aim to give swimmers not just data — but direction. To help every swimmer track their progress against India’s highest performance benchmarks, we’ve added the National Talent Pool Athlete (NTPA) time standards directly inside the Goals section of the app.

This integration allows swimmers to compare their target times with the official NTPA selection standards published by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) — promoting transparency, awareness, and motivation.

What is the National Talent Pool Athlete (NTPA)?

The National Talent Pool Athlete (NTPA) program is a key initiative by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) to identify and nurture promising swimmers across the country. The program forms the foundation of India’s National Talent Development Pathway (NTPD), ensuring that high-potential athletes receive systematic support for long-term progress toward national and international performance levels.

Eligibility Criteria (As per SFI, 2025):

• Age Requirement: Swimmers aged 12 years and above who achieve age-specific NTPA time standards at any SFI or World Aquatics–affiliated National Federation meet.
• Director’s Choice: Swimmers identified for inclusion by the National Program Director, provided they meet the “Possible Director’s Choice” time criteria.
• TOPS Inclusion: Swimmers under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) are automatically included in the NTPA.
