Health Metrics – Track What Powers Your Swimming Performance
The Health Metrics feature in Swimmer360° is designed to help swimmers understand and monitor key body indicators that influence performance, recovery, and overall well-being. This section allows swimmers to manually enter their Height, Weight, Body Fat %, Muscle %, Haemoglobin levels, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin B12 values.
How It Works :- Swimmers can input their basic health data such as height and weight, from which the Body Mass Index (BMI) is automatically calculated using the official NIH BMI Calculator.
- Additional fields like Body Fat % and Muscle % help swimmers understand their body composition and track physical changes over time.
- Tracking Haemoglobin, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin B12 levels offers insight into internal health factors that directly affect stamina, energy, and recovery.
Swimming performance is not just about training hard — it’s about training smart. At Swimmer360°, we believe in giving swimmers a 360-degree view of their health and fitness, connecting physical training with basic physiological awareness.
By enabling swimmers to log and monitor these health metrics, we aim to:
- Promote data-driven self-awareness among swimmers.
- Help swimmers identify health trends that may impact performance.
- Encourage proactive management of nutrition, rest, and recovery.
- Support long-term swimmer development and injury prevention.
- Personalized Insights: Understand how your body composition and nutrient levels influence endurance and power in the pool.
- Progress Tracking: Watch how consistent training and nutrition improve your key metrics over time.
- Early Detection: Spot potential issues like low haemoglobin or vitamin deficiencies before they affect your performance.
While these metrics provide valuable insights, they do not replace professional medical advice or diagnosis. We encourage swimmers to verify their data with periodic health check-ups and consult a healthcare professional for personalized guidance.
The Health Metrics feature helps swimmers bridge the gap between physical performance and internal wellness — empowering to swim stronger, recover better, and stay healthier, every season.
